Hello Everyone,
Anakin Skywalker is here to acquire knowledge from all of you wise Obi Wan Kenobis of Panfish world. I'm going to fish a local lake in Cary NC from a row boat called Lake Wheeler. I don't have a boat motor but I do have strong arms...lol..and a Humminbird 565 portable fish finder. I will be using Mister Twister curly tail jigs which I have used to catch Northern Pike,Crappie,Catfish,Largemouth,Smallmouth and White Bass as well as Salmon, trout,Bluegill,Walleye and Yellow Perch. I only use 1-2" grubs on 4-6lb P-line original fishing line which is very strong, small diameter and limp.
I'm going all out on this trip and will also purchase Leaf Worms and Crappie Minnows to increase my chances.
Where do I start fishing and what techniques do any of you think will be effective at this time of year?
P.S..if you could include diagrams or pics of rigs, structure or fishing methods I would greatly appreciate it.
