not enough can be said bout experience
Three KDWPT Fisheries Biologists retired on September 16, 2011. Their combined years of experience was 108 years. These guys worked hard for many years to improve fishing access and fish population quality in Kansas. Tommie Berger (38 years of service) retired as the Wilson Reservoir fish bio. Leonard Jirak (38 years of service) retired as the Melvern Reservoir fish bio. Steve Price (32 years of service) retired as the REG1&3 Fisheries Supervisor.
Thanks for all the hard work guys! Enjoy your retirements!

Wow, Congrates to them, sorry to see them go. Were they ready to go or was it due to cutbacks ect.? Are they going to be replaced?
Don't lie, There's less you have to remember
All three were voluntary retirements under the state Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program. Online FAQ for the program state that positions vacated as a result of retirements associated with the Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program are not to be filled for a period of at least three years from the date of retirement unless the positions are deemed to be essential or vital to the operations of the State of Kansas.
