    Default Rookie needing help

I am from the mid Ohio area and have been an avid saugey fisheman. I have done some spring crappie fishing when the crappies are shallow. I recently retired and moved near to Wilmington NC. I have made 3 trips to lake Marion in SC tried fishing brush in about 6 to 18 foot of water and so far skunked. I am looking for locations and advice.

First welcome from Florida. Ya might get a good response (faster)on the South Carolina or North Carolina board down in the states section. Either way good luck to ya.

Jimmy Swanson on the South Carolina board should be able to get ya pointed in the right direction. Good Luck.

    Welcome to Crappie.com
Look up the post made by Inkdabber on the S.C. board. He is one of the Santee fisherman and does very well. I'm sure he will give you some pointers.

Welcome from AL and I'm sure you will get a lot of help on the SC board if you post a question there.
