    Default Old small bass lures.

Since I am a FNG. Can any of these bass lures (if you can get them down in the zone) work on crappie if I go to a smaller hook on the larger lures?

I sure hope y'all don't get tired of me asking questions.

I regularly troll with larger cranks than that. Size 4 treble hook is normal, some have 2 others 6 but the majority have size 4.

Nothing silly about this question. I use mostly bass lures including pretty much every one of them that you have pictured here to catch crappie. Tie them on and have a great time with it.

Thank y'all for all the info.

How do you get them down? If you use a weight, what size? Rig them like a Carolina rig with the weght about 18 to 20 inches above the lure?

You might need weight for the top three cranks .... but, the blade baits depth can be controlled by speed & length of line out.

And get a "clip" for the Gay Blade (bottom blade bait) ... Thumbs Up

    ... cp
