Default B'n'M Sam Heaton Jigging Pole

Just curious if anyone experienced with this pole prefers the 11' or 12' model.

I don't have experience with the Sam Heaton, but needing a new jig pole I headed to Cabelas. I currently use a 10 footer and wanted the new one to be longer. I compared a 10', 11' and 12 footers side by side. The 10 felt good, the 11 was just about the same with a little more reach, but the 12 was too long and felt awkward to me. It was too tip heavy and sort of whippy. My new pole will be a 11 footer.

I prefer the 12' for vertical jigging. I'm on my 4th one in the last 7 years. Very Sensitive for sure. Don't be suprised if you eventually break a tip or 2. Still can't beat em.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

I have two 11" Sam Heatons and I don't think you can beat them for vertical jigging. I also have some 7' that I use to throw jigs with. I have several other BnM poles and really like each of them a lot.

I have 3 of the 10 foot poles and one 9 foot pole. They are awesome poles in my opinion. Very sensitive and good backbone.

I will be buying two 12 footers this winter.

I've used the 10ft rod for years. Excellent rod. I had two 12 footers and sold them. Much heavier then the 10 footers.

    2- 10 footers.....as well......I love them
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
