    Default Crappie Rods

Hey guys, I know this has been discussed and rediscussed several times, but, in your opinion what is the best crappie rod for the money, I was looking at the 10' Outlaws from Grizzly Jig, with the money maker tip or will the crappi max rods do just as well. What do you think?

I'd like to see & feel one of those Outlaw rods out myself. They don't sell them around here and I don't want to buy one without it in my hands. My current favorite is a BnM Ultimate. Great rod overall.

I use all B'n"M rods....I use the B'n'M Pro Trollers for pulling crank baits in 14 ft., 12 ft, 10 ft. I am wanting to get a set of B'n"M Capps and Colemans in 14 ft. to spider rig with. I use a 12 ft B'n"M Sam Heaton to single pole with and also a 10 ft. B'n'M ultralight.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Lots of good rods. Just keep your eye out for sales. Search this website to find the name you're looking at and you'll get plenty of opinions. There's no perfect rod, that's why there's a gazillion different types.

You will like them. I have (2) ten footers and (2) eights paired with Pfleuger President 6725's that I use to long line jigs off the back and they are sweet.

The outlaw rods that JR sells are great rods. If you do a web search for anglers midwest you can get his number and call him to talk about his rods. He is also alwaysfishing on CDC. The crappie maxx are nice rods also.

A bass pro rod that is a great rod for the money in shorter lenghts is the Micro lite graphite rods. I use them in 6'6,7',7'6 lengths in ultra light and light and when they are very nice rods for the money IMO.
