Default To Collar or Not to Collar

Wanted to see what others prefer. I like to go collarless myself. Makes it easier to tie my own jigs and does not rip my smaller plastics.

Chris I use both, just depending on what I am doing and what I am using.

    I use Both as well.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

For plastic I use my little screwheads in 1/16oz. The fish cant rip them off, or down the hook shank. So they dont tear or rip. Prolongs the plastics life 35%-50%

Has anyone ever used Bait Buttons? It's a small rubber disc that slides on the hook to keep the bait in place.

I mostly use colorless because I tie my own jigs. I may use a drop of super glue to secure tubes and other plastics.

I use collared for plastics, and tie with collarless. I don't like the shorts pullin down my shorts. I can see collarless and super glue working well with the smaller plastics. I also like the screw heads that Pbug spoke of, and have some myself. The guy who showed me those said that he had to take off the tails cuz they got white from being chewed on so much, but weren't ready to fall off yet. They really hold.
