    Default Wilson Lake this afternoon

got on the lake around 4:00, stopped at 7:00. Went to a place I caught good fish deep last year. They were still there this year. Caught these fish in 42 feet of water, fishing a one ounce bank sinker below two hooks with minnows. It is like bottom fishing in the gulf it is so deep. The wind was great.

    I caught 9 fish, the 7 biggest weighed 10 1/2 pounds.
I had 4 fish that averaged over 2 pounds.

well,, I am going over to Neely Henry to prefish. Never been, but hard too knowing in can go to WIlson and catch these hawgs. But, going anyway.

Look , I learned to crappie fish on Cedar. Absolutley packed with crappie. Just dont' expect anything real big. You will catch fish, but they most likely will average about 9-10 inches. You will have the occaisional bigger fish though.

yes, these fish were right on the bottom. Of the 4 bigger fish in the picture, the bottom fish actaully had it's bladder sticking out of its mouth. Wish I had taken a picture of that.

David those are some beautiful slabs. They'll look better after you fire em up.
