    Default Good Day on LOZ

Went over to a dock yesterday morning about 10:30 & caught about 100 crappie, about 1 in 6 or 7 a keeper. Any 1/16 oz jig seems to be working. They liked it pitched across the slip & were nailin' the free-fall. The fish were between 6' and 10' right in the slip. I missed 9 of 10 strikes probably & still caught a ton of fish. A couple were over 12 in., lost one at the surface that was a little bigger. All the keepers were white crappie, had maybe a half-dozen short black crappie. Had to stop at 12:30 but had a nice limit. Fast action like that is great for teaching a young 'un to love fishin'! A buddy of mine & his three-year old were there & I mean to tell you, that lil guy fished the whole time.Name: DSCF0222.jpg

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

Sounds like a great time for sure. Surely he moved to another dock for picture time. If not there is only several thousand down there to try until you find the right one.
