Has anyone been crappie fishing in the maumee river in Nw ohio?

I was wondering the same thing not too long ago. I've been up there a few times already for walleye and I've seen pics of some good size crappie from the Maumee. I'd love to try and catch some but I wouldn't know where to start.
I was at the maumee river on 3-2-06 and got one nice crappie. but when thay are biteing you can get some nice fish.
I tried the maumee(turkeyfoot&Wagner's) for crappie a couple weeks ago and got skunked. There were a few other boats out there and nobody was getting anything. They should be hitting in the next couple weeks. If anyone does any good please post so I can get out there this weekend. Thanks in advance, Mike
