    Default Fishing near Tuckertown NC

First off, Hello I am glad to be a part of Crappie.com, I have been reading and learning a lot, Great site, My son and myself will be fishing this weekend in the Tuckertown NC area for Crappie, We are bringing the Jon boat and a small trolling motor, We have never fished for Crappie but would like to. I think this may become the fish of choice after this weekend. Minnows or Jigs? any good tips, I think the water is full of cover and kinda shallow, Thank You

You may want to post this into the North Carolina forum. There is usually a lot of discussion of the different lakes in NC.
