table rock

i know i posted about table rock a couple months ago, but thought i'd bring it up again. just wondering if anyone has ever caught many crappie down there. i've been three times and managed only 12 total fish. granted all were nice fish, but i know there must be better numbers than this. thanks for any replies

Have not fish that lake sense the '60's. Right after the started daming water we fished the hack out of it for about 6 or 8 years, till Beaver Lake opened, when I was more interested in girls than fishing with my dad. We mainly fished for bass. We did some night crappie fishing and caught some good ones. But mostly at night in the summer we went frogin'. To this day I hate eating frog legs but loved gigging when I was a kid.

ADAMR: have you ever fished Bull Shoals for crappie? It is turning into a good crappie lake.

never have but i actually just bought a map for the lake yesterday and i plan on heading down their soon. i love living in springfield, i have a ton of lakes withing two hour driving distance.
