Default which warm weather state has the best crappie fishing?

I have been thinking about moving out of MI to a state with warmer weather year around. I have been really looking toward california, florida and the carolinas. Anyway, I see some gigantic crappie on this forum. I figure if I must move, I wanna move to a warm state where I can crappie fish all the time. Which state or area would be best for a move?

MS is the state your looking for. Batesville would be centrally located for the big four corps lakes and would put you within an hour of Memphis of major medical care and an international airport.

MS, AL, TN, AR, MO and possible GA would be at the top of my list.

PS, NC and SC are wonderful states but IMO they don't have as many crappie opportunities as the other states mentioned (although their best are right up there with my other states).

I live at the outer banks of NC. All the tributaries from the Albemarle Sound and Pamlico sound have brackish water. If we don't have a lot of rain the salinity of the water gets so salty that bluefish, redfish and trout move all the way in from the ocean feeding into the two different intercoastal waterways we have.We have some of the best crappie and yellow perch fishing in two surrounding states. I belive the state record or the US record yellow perch came out of a creek called indian town creek which is only three miles from my house. I will follow up on the record catch later today.

Stay offa mah lake carpetbagger. Besides, we ain't got no warm weather down here. Alls we got is hot and hotter.

Take a look in the Southaven, Hernando area. Lots of conveniences, closer to Memphis/Air and the hospitals and you're right on top of Sardis and Arkabutla plus close to Enid and Grenada is only about 1.25 to 1.5 hours. Course, I'm partial to Grenada and I could always use more folk to bum lunch from.
