    ...so I'll know what it is youre talking about. I read ALOT of reports about drums and I'm sure we have 'em too but we must call 'em something else?!?

    Thanks for the link and the picture. Looks like some kind of hugh shad on steriods. I havent ever caught anything that looks like that so I assume we dont have 'em in the 3 different lakes I fish in. Looks like they grow to be pretty nice size and would be fun catching 'em on lite tackle though. Are they more of just a nuisance fish or do they compete in the food chain and hurt the crappie population?
