Good weekend on Trumann Lake

We were hesitant to fight the tourney crowd at Trumann. Glad we did. Fished Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning caught a lot of fish in 4 - 18 ft. of water. They fish in deeper water were generally suspended around 8 ft. mainly jigs - color didn't matter. Oh by the way found a good BBQ place in Clinton - sides were very good. Just remember this is a crappie website but thought someone might be interested in Brown's BBQ.

Got to meet jj at Bucksaw Marine. Gary enjoyed the conversation - I noticed in a picture this morning - one of your rods was wrapped in red tape - what type of tape is that and where do you buy it.

That is drum tape, Gary uses it to keep drum slime off the handle, cause he can't keep them off his line............
