took the two young guns up today for a few hours and did ok. fished the north end of trimble , twenty ft of water down 10-12 and did fair. best bite came from 6-10ft of water 5-10ft down. blk/chrt worked best. here is a couple of pics with the kids holding thier biggest fish, and of course the girl outfished me again. she caught the biggest crappie , pushing about 14inches. and then that green carp showed up in my brushpile and the bite was over , he was 21 1/2 inches long, dont know what he weighed but he sure give that b&m a workout. ended up catching 30-40 fish, had 14 over 12inches.

I know those kids! I thought that I would see about 4-5 jigs on one hook like Zack likes to fish. Hands Clapping

Congrats, you couldn't have picked a nicer day.

Good job Rodney, 14 over 12" is a good day for sure. I think shes watching too much Jimmy Houston. Kids look good, that hat is priceless.

What a great day! That's a pretty nice bass. FYI, caught one last year that measured 21 1/2" and it weighed 6 lbs.
