Default This trolling stuff is fun

My second day trolling. Three rods, each with soft plastic; BPS 2" minnow, BPS 2" turkey foot and a 1-1/2" tube. The fish bit on all of them. In addition to the ones in the picture, there were four dinks and 3 LMBass that were thrown back.

The wood seat they're on is 12-1/2". I shouldn't have kept the dink on the right but he was the first catch and I didn't know if there would be any more.

But the trolling motor goes back to Amazon tomorrow since the reverse setting doesn't work. It'll probably take a week or more to get the replacement.

Many thanks to everyone here who have shared their knowledge and experience.

100-acre lake in Chicago's northwest suburbs called Lake Barrington. When I first saw it I didn't think there would be much fishing (my previous fishing was on Lake Michigan - I figured big lake/big fish - small lake/small fish. What did I know?

That's a great catch, especially with only 3 rods trolling. It is definitely a technique that puts fish in the boat.Thumbs Up Congrats.

I really want to learn to do this but in Iowa we can only use 2 pole per person and 1 pole in minnesota. I will just have to learn with 2 poles I guess
