Default Pvc stake beds at Smithville

What parts of the lake would be best for stake beds. I know where you place them will make a huge difference. Would you need to put them at different depths for fishing at different times of the year?
Should they be set out away from timber? On points? on flats?
I am new to man made structure and I am going to get started with some pvc stake beds in Smithville.
    I guess this is legal?

When do they shut down the north end of Smithville for waterfoul hunting?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

There are 2 ways you can do this, (1) just do it and dont get caught or (2) get a permit which is the legal way to do it. If you go this route the only material you can use is wood and there has to be a minimum of 10' of water over the top of the cover and you will also have to tell them where you put them. Been there and done that so I know what I'm talking about. I would choose option #1. Good luck.
