Absolutely. I cant catch a thing in soft water. Ive put more time in this year to not catch anything than any other year.

    Ice is nice
If vegetable oil is made from vegetables, what's baby oil made from?

    I like fall a lot.

The water is cooling, the trees are turning, and (thanks to deer season and football season), the lakes are much quieter.

late October through mid December. Second would be mid March to mid May
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

I like them all but I'm w/G as my two favorites being Fall & Spring. Have to admit that with the weird weather patterns the last few years, I've been catching them more consistently in late May & June. Breathing the air & looking at the leaves turning is a thrill every fall. Spring means finally getting out of the house. Enjoy winter fishing but sometimes you may go for several weeks before you can hit the water. Especially for us weekend fishermen.

It tears me up when November gets here. When I'm fishing, the last hour or so before dark has me hurting to be up in a treestand with a bow in my hand. At the same time, when I'm bowhunting, I can't help but think how nice it would be on the water.

I'm getting closer to the time when I can fully retire and go hunting one day and fishing the next. Trouble with hunting is getting up & down trees. Nice thing about fishing is it should be good to go for years.
