Fishing With The Uncle

My aunt and uncle from Alabama have been visiting with us since last Wednesday. He enjoys fishing but does very little of it so he always enjoys coming up to visit. We got out twice. We went out Sunday morning and caught a bunch of real nice fish. We took home two limits that we caught in about 2 1/2 hours. Several were a pound or better. We went out again on Tuesday morning, fished a different spot but had the same results. Most were caught on minnows fished 8 to 10 feet down in 10 to 18 fow. The larger fish seemed to be holding in shallower water around cedars. We also caught a bunch of fish on blk/silver and blue/silver paddletails. They hit jigs almost as well as the minnows this time out. Aunt and uncle took home 60 real nice fillets.

The 7 yr old grandson and I will be camping at Bucksaw this weekend and fishing as much as we can get out. Be sure to give us a yell if you see us.
