Default slip bobber and spring bobber ?

hey guys i was curious about slip bobbers and spring bobbers i know what a slip bobber is but have never used one. I was surfing around on here and seems like most people fish with a swivel under them. I have never used one but looks to me like u can only fish one depth after u put it on with the bobber stops. Is that correct or can u change the depth afterwards or is the depth controlled by the amount of line you tie to the swivel would love to give them a try with some jigs sometime but just don't know how to use them.

I was also just wondering what a spring bobber was never heard of one before. All i have ever used is Styrofoam corks with minnows and never used a float with a jig but want to give it a try. Any advice is appreciated

    thanks

no swivel, put your bobber stop on then bobber then bead to protect knot. or a split shot then tie your jig or hook, you can adjust your depth by how high up you put bobber stop. a spring bobber is the same style as you have used, a clip on.

the bobber stop will slid up and down the line to adjust your depth.

You can set the bobber stop to any depth you want.......your jig or splitshot will take your hook or jig down until the bobber stop hits the bobber. You can set it as deep as you want to.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

It helps to wet the bobber stop before and during moving not to heat up your line Thumbs Up

I use this technique in salt W all the time. one of the tricks is to keep the knot cinched up tight yet trimmed enough so doesn interfere w/ casting. you can fish 20 30' deep or more yet reel your line all the way in for the next cast!
