    Default N Barkley info

    Hi to all,

I am coming down to my in-laws next weekend and plan to drag my boat along.
Normally I fish N Barkley anywhere from Eddy Creek to the dam.
Have always fished for bass until last year I got serious about crappie.
Never have had much luck with them on Barkley.

Any info on the crappie bite would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Paul

Paul wish I could help but have never fished up that way. Planning a trip in Oct for Eddy Creek so I'm curious about the bite up that way too. Good Luck to ya!

    Downwind,
You will like Eddy Creek. Lots of good places to fish (from my bass days) and can always find somewhere out of the wind when it is bad.
I fished EC for crappie, seriously for the first time back in the spring (Easter weekend). Didn't do much good, but one of the local guys that lives on the bay and crappie fishes alot told me it had been real slow the time I was there.
He did tell me last fall, in Nov. the bite was very good.
Another plus is there isn't to much skinny water to get you in trouble in the creek. Be careful if you go out on to the lake, can get in trouble REAL fast.
Good luck to ya and let us know how you do
