I like the 9 and 10 footers for jigging. Especially this time of year. I've been using the BnM BGJP 10' & BnM Capps & Coleman 9' wading rod this summer for timber fishing.

In the spring time, I will use 10 & 11' BnM Bucks Graphite Jig Poles.

I use a couple of 8' BnM BGJP poles with braid for most of my vert jigging. I have many rods from 5 to 12 feet and use them all from time to time. I'm usually in deep water with the 8 footers. I also have a couple of bony 9 footers that work well with a bit heavier jig.
