    The last few months have been crazy (divorce) so I had not been able to get out for several months. I skated off to Smithville to fish the privates at LP for a bit. Typically during the summer you can catch a jillion 8" fish with maybe one or two keepers. Today was much different. It took just over 2 hours to catch my limit. I was pretty shocked. They wanted small baits and they were swallowing them. 1/32 mariboo yellow was the choice bait. Any bigger and the catch went in half. All of the fish were 9.5-10.5 so nothing special but it was still a great day to be out doing what I love after the past few months I have had!
