    Could you list a few of the more noticalble changes you would make fishing a lake with a majority white crappie versus a majority black crappie? And why.

    Whites are typically more of an "open water" species. The blacks are more similar to a bluegill. They have a different diet and act much different given the time of year etc. I love to use "wax worms" as a live bait tip when fishing for blacks as compared to a minnow being the best for whites.
    In most lakes with a few exceptions the blacks will spend most of their lives in a bit shallower waters than the whites.
