Normandy Lake Crappie.

Lynn and I went to Normandy on 8-13. 5 am. Started out bass fishing for about 2 hours. No luck, Lynn was using a rubber frog and I a 6 inch banjo minnow fished like a jig. Talked to afew other anglers and they werent having any luck either. So we went tocrappie fishing. Went to our usuall main lake spots and picked up a few there. Went to the back of Carol creek and we caught about 12 in a short time. Fish are sitting just below the thermocline in about 8-9ft of water. We fished 7 ft on slip bobber rigs with minnow. What we like to do. All fish were over 10 inch. one 13 and one 12. We kept 6 fish for eating. Yum

I fished Normandy a few times when I lived over in TN. I do not minnow fish much but use to catch some good crappie at times under Barton Springs bridge.
