We here at Froggy Waters Outdoors are proud to announce our first freshwater slam ...

the tournament is to benfit Kids, and to get kids out into the enviroment.

the Slam will consist of 3 categories Black bass , Catfish , Panfish .

It will be the largest of all three to make the slam, plus largest fish in each category.
which = 6 postion prizes

Rules (condensed version)

-standard cpr format (catch, photo, release )
-an additional photo of waters fished with the river or luanch in the background w/ qualifier to insure
participants are not lake or pond fishing
-man powered watercraft only kayak,canoe, hybrid
-teams can be made up of 1 youth plus 1 adult ( this is a youth event so .... team w/youth get a
1"bonus per category entry to a total of 3")
-free rental boat usage avalible (for those with out a yak/canoe ) to participate please contact
Gary well in advance of tournament to make the arrangements
-100 entry limit
-live bait is allowed
-any questions about water's that might be questionable to cut off limits need to be addressed Via
email prior to the captian's meeting and are subject to be mentioned @ meeting to insure fairness to
all participants

the actual tournament is any river , creek , branch ,flowing waters within 40 miles of the 27503 zipcode to list a few ......do understand some of these waters flow beyond or tournament area be careful where you fish .

In the mind set to protect anyone's honey hole i will not ask paricipants to publicly share the location of there catch but privately with judge's .it could happen be prepaired.
Also some head waters to some lakes will be considered open waters due to the avaliblity of rental boats for a more detailed list please call but(i.e. lake miche. durham co. above bahama rd bridge,,As well as the lower eno to the hwy 85 bridge @ falls lake )
