They are probably wise to you by now and are in hiding. Really thry have gone to cooler water deeper.
I have about a 6 acre pond and all sping we killed the crappie trolling and in shollow water. I stayed on them until about May and then I couldnt find them anymore. The pond has a max depth of about 20 ft and ive tried fishing deep and shallow. I know they will be back shallow in a month or two but were are they at right now with it being as hot as it is? Should I try fishing at night with light?

Id say look for cooler water. Is there any springs feeding into it??? If so try there
You ought to be able to find them since you say the pond is only 6 acres
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Suspended over deep water about the thermocline would be a good guess.

you caught'em all.
Suspended over deep water can mean the fish are 3-4 feet deep over 20 FOW. Ponds tend to really get stagnant in hot weather and the oxygen content may only be comfortable just a few feet from the surface. Try low light conditions, early and late, in the deeper sections but fish shallow over the deep water.
You might want to try next to any vegetation close to the bank or the ends of any treelaps. How you fish and what you're using could make a difference too. I rarely use minnows but know a lot of fishermen swear by them this time of year.
Now is a good time to put out some big brushpiles. Try to put a couple of these real close together. It not only gives them a place to hide and to feed but gives them a way to protect their eyes from the sun. Early and late was a good recommendation too.
Might be close. Ponds can be easily overfished if you're not careful. If you and several others "killed em" in the spring all the way through May and kept the fish - you could have already caught a significant portion of the larger fish in that pond...
Or they could just be suspended in the middle...
