Default LOZ Crankbait Crappie Are Red Hot!

Went to around the 14mm this afternoon for three hours. Trolled four crankbait rods. 200 and 300 bandits. Caught 43. 36 were good keepers in 10 to 12" range. Had 3 over 13" All released to be caught again. Color didn't seem to matter. Had to be in
20+ ft. of water. Caught some over 65 ft. of water. All fish caught between 15 and 20 ft. deep. Caught some in coves and some along bluffs. Caught fish every where I went. Water clear and 85 degrees. Fishing by myself and was so busy couldn't even smoke a cigar. First crappie fishing I have done in a long while. Was fun to get back into it.

Sound like a good day Baker. Keep after them wont be long before it cools off and they head shallow again.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
