Default Grand today was really grand!!!!!!!

Up from Bucksaw. Didn't matter much where. Fish were on the bite from 4 to 8 feet down over 10 to 28 feet of water. All colors worked. Limit by 9:30 so we could beat the heat, and it did get hot by 10:30 so we quit. Really comfortable up to that time. Cleaned 20 nice eaters and turned back several 14's and 13's. Orange head jig with a yellow chartruse rocky top jig body. Bite was constant all morning.

Dumb question here... are you fishing stick ups? Also... how long do you hang around one or two stumps before moving on to the next one? .... Maybe I'm fishing one tree or group of trees to long.

Fishing stick ups and don't miss any. The fish will tell you when to move on. If the bite is strong I will hang in awhile. If you take more than one fish off of a stick up, there is usually a reason ie. underwater limbs or something to hold the fish. Good luck
