majority of members have their favorite line due to preferences, viscious is popular, I use it on my longlining poles in 6# hi vis, I like it alot, easy to see, what little bit of casting to get the lure out is easy, no complaints. I have 10# on my CB rods but got the low vis Stren in the 1200 yd spool at wally world for $8. It is definitely low vis but with the reel holding 300 yds, it's a cheap way to fill the spool. I may change it out when I find some hi vis on sale. BPS has a sale going now
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I am using P-line 10lb Hi-Vis from BassPro. I buy the 300yd spools and put 150yds on each reel over 10lb Trilene XL backing. I can see the color of the P-line better than the Stren gold on the water. I want to try an orange color line this season as I think it would be easier to see on sunny days and keep track of your lines.

I put the cheapest 10# backing on my reels and add about 300 ft of 10/3 Tuf Line hi vis braid. I use 6' of 10# mono leader (I use the Silver Thread AN-40 in the silver) on the business end.(the mono is personal preference). The 10/3 braid let's my baits dive deeper when the fish are deep without using snap weights. Precision Trolling book gives you the dive curves for both 10# mono and 10/4 braid. You can also use the 15/4 braids.
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
