Default Teach a man to fish......

Took my favorite fishing partner " The Bug" and my great nephew to Stockton saturday morning. Had a great time, he had never been in a boat or on a lake before and it was the first time he had ever fished outside of his grandpa's pond under a cork. I didnt think he would ever stop grinning. Fished the trees in 20 fow fish were about 10-12 feet down. You know the saying" Give a man a fish he will eat for a day, Teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime". I think he is hookedThumbs UpName: 72311.jpg

No, no, no... the saying is changed over the years.

... teach a man to fish then you're partially responsible for the money he'll spend, fights with the wife he'll get into, and never ending addiction to new gear.

Fish is the most expensive form of food known to modern day man.

Nice fish from a good day on the water. Glad you got out and introduced a youngster to fishing..... well done!
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

When you get a youngster into that kind of fishing, you can bet he'll be hooked for life! Great job to you and "the Bug" for sharing your boat and your knowledge!
