Default Field Test on The Shark and the Jelly Jig with spider legs

It has been hot as the dickens here the past three weeks. Even at 9pm the temperature is in the high 88+ range. During the day it has been approaching triple digits. I took my granddaughter out fishing on Monday and Tuesday for a few hours each day. She was using the hackle and krystal flash she tied on #8 hooks and caughtabout 20 Bluegills total for the two days. I used The Shark and some Jelly Jigs with some rubber skirt material to simulate spider legs. The Shark has great movement in the water. I could see it well as we only fished from the bank. The tail has a great quiver action. Had lots of attention on it but only the largemouth bass hit it hard. We threw him back. Got a few Bluegill on the Jelly Jig but only two nice keeper Crappies. I can't wait for the temperatures to chill so we can get in a good day of fishing. It was nice to get out and test the knee on some small rocks. Had a great time.

I bet that rain felt good. It's been so long since we got rain I barely remember what it's like. Sounds like the two of you spent some quality time together and caught some fish too. Congrats.

we have had a little rain here but it only makes it worse, so dang humid and over 100 degree heat indexes make you smother

Our skeeters in bama are huge. I am highly allergic to them. Too many bites and I really swell up. Still had fun though.
