Default a couple of ?'s about night stalking

tried it for the first time last night, had fun, learned some things, but:

What do you guys use to weight the submersible light so it will sink below the surface? My idea didn't work, so back to the drawing board.

What's your favorite bait to use when anchored closed to structure, etc.?
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Since a green underwater light is designed to draw or bring in baitfish....the best bait to use would be live minnows....fish them just out past the light ring

    Default Heavy Bank Sinkers

I have a green light that was very hard to sink. I went to Academy and got a couple of thier heaviest bank sinkers. I think mine took two 6 oz sinkers to sink it, but it worked. Use some kind of wire to attach the sinkers to your light.
