High Rock Water Safe to Swim in?

I'm a little confused about the sewer "releases" or spills on the Yadkin Chain. We are thinking about renting a cabin or something on High Rock next weekend.. is that lake Ok to swim in???? I mean I don't want any horns or anything to start growing out of my daughter or wife you now???

I wouldn't see why not, it was slap full of pleasure boaters/swimmers/skiers/tubers on July 4th. There were people tubing and swiming the other day and some were still out there swimming when I left at 9:30 p.m.

If it helps, I've been washing my hands in it every time I caught something. Nothing abnormal yet :p
