I fished up in Canda a few times and we would stop at midday and cook a fish lunch. These days I just pack some sandwitches or stop at the Deli and pick up a subway sandwitch before going fishing.

Food always seems to taste better when it's cooked outdoors by the campfire.

Starling Boloney, American Cheese, squeezable Miracle Whip, and light bread make for a quick lunch and yummy.

I've been really interested in doing just that, but haven't gotten
around to it yet. Need to do some tinkering with finding a cooker or stove
and utensils that won't take up too much room in the boat.
What sort of set up do you use for cooking the fish, brick man?
Deep-fry or pan fry - or ??? Thanks, Jeff

A many a times me and my bud will catch our lunch and then hit the bank for some fried fish. They dont get any better. I'm looking for a couple more trips to do just that again this year too. :D
