    Default My 1st CDC report...

Put in at Long Shoal went up the Tebo Arm. Tried deeper water with jigs around trees, nothing. Small bites. Tried a little shallower, nothing....not even a bite. Went up towards Tebo Island, jigging timber....one green fish. All in all caught 3 crappie from about 5pm until sunset. Even tried trolling crankbaits for a bit, one drum. I tried every color jig I have....blue/silver sparkle, green/chart, chart/white lake fork baby shad. Good day on the water though.

Like Keefer said, at least you got out. I haven't wet a line in a few weeks. Thanks for the report and I'm sure you'll slay them next time. Thumbs Up

I hate to say it but.......minnows are the ticket right now. They are feeding on this year's shad hatch. Match the hatch and you will catch a bunch.

We were going to use minnows, the marina closed at 3. I figured with the gazillion baby shad that were swimming around they were just full and weren't biting. Thumbs Up
