Pomme 7/10

Fished this morning from 6 to 11. Fishing was a lot tougher than last weekend. We finished with 16 keepers, very few shorts, all caught on jigs around pole timber on the Pomme side of the lake. It looks like there was an excellent shad spawn this year. We literally saw thousands of 3/4" shad. I hope to hit again in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the report, I need to get up there and learn a little more of the lake. I'd gave my right big toe for 16 keepers last Saturday, lol

I gave it a whirl up around Bolivar landing last thurs...caught enough to make a mess, but as you said it was slow.
