Default Bucksaw report truman lake July 3 & 4

Caught lots of fish within a few miles of Bucksaw trolling and dipping trees. Best bite was 10 to 18 FOW 11 ft down near tree tops just showing. Up and down were just as good as the water has cleared a lot. Minnows or jigs got the bite but the minnows were 4 to 1 favorites. Caught several fish of of one tree, some were dandies and had several 14 + each day, good mix of all sizes. Best bite was early and late likely because of the moon, who knows? Fished with scarincrappie and visited with concrete a few times, understand they did well also.Thumbs Up

Very nice report and good looking g fish. Glad to hear they are starting to feed up again. The fish on the right in the bottem picture is a thick sucker. Congrats. It's fun fishing them trees just under the surface when the water is falling that no one has fished for a while.

Those aren't crappie, those are bass as big as they are! Just kidding, congrats on a great day! I think I'd have to buy a bigger fillet knife to clean something that big!!
