stockton hot weather, hotter fishing

Hit the lake this AM got there early for me, went up sons creek to my favorite hot weather spot, and well it wasn't so hot, caught a few in the 9 1/2 to 10 1/2 range, moved down, well up creek to the mouth of a cove and bam it was on, 8 to 10 ft of water 4 to 6 ft down, let drag slow trolling style. double rig set up, black/chartruse and white/silver on one rod, and rootbeer/chartruse and red/chartruse on the other, ease arround some stumps and open water, in out, back and forth, raise lower the jigs. let stand still dip a tree or two all good, caught nothing over 20 in. and a lot of 10 to 12 in fish. seen lots of shad and white bass chasing them, some of them bass would come clear out of the water chasing the shad, seen a couple noodles go swimming buy and then they would dunk under, no one arround to check on them I could tell, I could not find any name on them, or anything, some people, oh well I left them this time, maby not the next time, oh and they had fish on them too. Met some nice folks from Oklahoma, sure hope they enjoy the fish. they was having a rough day, motor quit, then they got it fixed, strap broke on bathing suit, I offered to help fix that, but to no avail, we joked a bit, they drank a budweiser and I bid them farewell. hope they enjoy the fish fry tonight, roark bluff camping ares, look for blue camper........

boat ran well again, and the gas milage seems to be better after all the electrical,and gas fixing. hope it stays that way,

chicago style hot dog place was closed, had to go with out dinner, good dogs too. oh well I fix some chicken with taco power and onions and tomatoes for supper....

sharon just brought me another cold BUSCH so I better quit typing and drinking,,,,,,later all and have a great

Congrats.glad you got on them.And man it was hot today,went up visiting and got on cc for a couple of hours got 2 keepers and i think 11 shorts,gave them away.Water was as calm as could be.
