Default Style I foundon another site

Made with the black plastic pipe that comes in rolls. Would seem to be stable on the bottom.

I like the looks of those.
I think I will buy a roll of the black plastic pipe and make a few for myself.

Theres a handle set in the concrete, so you could lower them with a doubled-up rope and set them exactly where you wanted them. I don't think a crappie jig would snag on that setup either, and that black pipe is way cheaper than pvc.

those are sort of like mine,,,but mine wont weight but 45lb..those are much heavier...the black one in the back is the poly pipe..i just pulled it tight and run a little hand held torch down it..the red is a 1000ft roll of conduit...you can barely see it in the back

I'm going to make a few of those this week, if I can find the pipe. I really like the looks of those!

Here's a tip if you are looking to lower structure with a rope. Simply cement a nail in the top of the structure. When it cures just bend the nail over double with a hammer. Insert your rope into the loop (bent nail)and double the rope. Make the double rope length longer than the depth you plan on sinking the structure in. Lower the doubled rope and structure to the bottom and release one strand of the rope. Pull it through the looped nail. Bounce the structure a time or two to seat it into the bottom if you wish.

Approximately what is the wing span on those attractors and where did you get the pans from? I have thought about using gallon cans but I am not sure they would be stable enough and may tip over.

they are about 6-6.5 ft wide...the pans are 18qt dishpans from the dollar store..after 3-4 days they will pop right out and i just re-use the pans..
