Good work KC, glad you found some to take home. Was it crowded for the show? Be safe heading home.

Sounds like a great weekend trip. Good to see some good reports around Truman and good to hear from you again on the MO board.

It was crowed at the dam for the fireworks. We went delow the dam took us about 1 hour to get out but was a good show. I did notice when we were out fishing I seen more Gar and Paddle fish jumping than I have in a long time. The first one scared my son while I was pulling him on the tube a paddle fish jumped about 5 feet from where he was sitting at in the tube. That was funny.

Interesting you said that, saw more paddles jumping on the lower Osage than think I've ever seen and lots of gar cruising the top. The water is getting very hot on the surface not sure if that's part of the reason or if the big crappie in that area are driving them to the surface.

We saw a LOT of spoonies jumping completely out of the water the last two weekends on the Osage. Hit the Grand a couple of times this past weekend and saw several jumping there as well. Lots more than in past years......... ???
