Default Memories with photos and videos

As I set here in the hospital with my dad I can't help but think about all the times we have been fishing or anywhere that I did not take any pictures. I'm not the best person to do a video as you can see from some I have posted on here. I just really think when any of us are out on the water or just doing something together we should snap some or just do some little video just to preserve the memories. I can't tell you how many time I watched videos that I have made with my dad that I posted on you tube. I would either be on here or on you tube while I have been waiting. We came pretty close to losing him the other night when his blood pressure drop really low and the had to take him back to surgery. It really helped to watch them videos and here him talking and cutting up on camera. It also helped me to read all of your post also. I guess I'm just trying to say take some pictures and video of your friends or loved ones to have some treasure to go back to, it is not the fish we catch it is the friendships and memories we make when we are together. I just can't thank all of you enough here at crappie.com you are all a great bunch of folks. Thanks for everything, Lynn

Good point! I need to start doing that. Some of the greatest memories shared in a boat. I hope your dad gets well soon so you can get back on the water with him again. Best!

Sounds like your father raised a caring and sensitive child. Memories are all you have to hold on to sometimes. We should all try and make pleasant memories with our families whenever possible. I cherish the times I spent on the water with my dad. Those memories are priceless to me.

You talk to some folks with a position or big money sometimes and if you really listen they really aren't happy with all they have. The riches of life don't have a dollar sign before them. You are a very lucky man to have had the time with your Dad to look back on. If you never took a pic you still have a great wealth to reflect on.
