It was a beautiful morning on the water. No wind but a light breeze every once in a while. We started just before daylight at the mouth of Possum Creek. Nothing but dinks. Fished around there for about an hour then moved out to the channel edges. Started catching fish along the channel breaks. Started catching black crappie on minnows and white crappie in jigs. They really liked Satdoc's sickle runners with an orange head tipped with a chartruce sparkle Slab Buster. At times I couldn't keep it in the water. Anyway we caught about 100 dinks and kept 20 or so crappie. Nothing big, just good eaters. About 10:00 the sun started getting too warm and the fish slowed down a little. Ski boats and jet ski's started coming out so we headed in. Gave the fish to Talltimber's neighbor who's been wanting a mess of fish. Fun day!!!! Thanks for the ride in the new boat Brad. Sho is nice!!!!

Good report. Glad you two had a good morning.
