My wife and I recently had a baby boy to go with our three year old girl and up til then I used to go fishing during the day every friday. Now that my son is here My only free day is sundays. I dispise fishing a lake on the weekend but it almost seems like it's my only choice I know my screen name implies differently but I don't know too much about night fishing in the spring time of year. I usally nightstalk during the summer to escape the heat. So for those who dont mind sharing, whats the early spawn and spring time night bite like

They have been doing well under the lights at Clearlake at one of the places on the north side. Direct rumor only.

We have fished during the day primarily. My wife prefers to fish at night. She likes to watch a lighted cork go underwater. OK, I do too. We went a week or so back and caught 8 nice keepers in a few hours.

Dad likes to fish during the day, My wife wants to fish at night. What a problem to have. I guess I have to go twice this week. Darn! :D

    Congrats on the baby!

I started in jan and I have been doing great so if you got a good spot it will be fine. The reason that i start in jan is because thats when hunting season is over.I am seriously thinking about giving up the hunting and fishing year round.Good luck
