    Default Table Rock 6/26 Afternoon

Put in a Cape 1:30. Fished until 6:30. Trolled South of Piney on the East side from Smith Branch down to Saw Mill Hollow. Worked the 15 - 20 ft where we could and as close to the bluff without getting the cranks caught in the trees. Lots of Whites and Kentuckies. No Crappie. Took the long run up to Bridgeport and worked the sand flats next to the boat launch and caught catfish, white bass and crappie. No big ones today. Biggest was 11 inches. Prolly had 10 in an hour. Didn't keep any today.
Same pattern I typically run. 20ft to 1/2oz snap weight then 20 - 30 ft of line. 1.5 - 2.0mph with #4 shad raps. Points had the most fish on them.

We did cover an area that was loaded with fish but couldn't get a bit. I figure the fish must be full with all the bait fish along that shoreline. Could have walked across a couple areas that threadfin were so thick.

Nice day with my wife on the watter. Can't wait to go to work tomorrow.

Man, that sounds like a fun day! Glad you and the missus had some quality time, and caught some fish. Congrats!
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
