Default Livewell or no livewell, that is the qustion.

I have two of these little 9 foot pond prowlers, one has a livewell the oher doesn't, i want to get rid of one of them, which one would you keep? The one without has more room, so, is the livewell useful or not?

If you are tournament fishing a live well is an absolute must. If you use live bait a live well can be advantageous. But if you are just fishing catch and release or keeping fish for the table then it is definitely not necessary. I do not have a live well, but I do tournament fish with my kayak. When it comes time for a tournament I use an igloo cooler with a battery operated aerator and a bag of ice. My aerator operates on 2 d cell batteries and will last most of the summer. I add a bit of ice throughout the day and have no problem keeping bass alive for 8 hours. Most of the time I am catch and release or meat fishing so I either let them go or put them on a stringer. So I guess to answer the question I would keep the one without the live well and make use of the extra space.
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D

Some good points, as far as tournaments, I would have a better chance winning the Ironman competition ! I also have a minnow bucket with the battery aireator, I could use the livewell as an ice chest for drinks, sandwiches and such or storage, that would get some clutter off the floor also, the one with the livewell does have two seats and the other only one, but i almost always fish by myself, but two seats gives me an option. Course i could just keep them both, but rather see someone get some use outta it rather than just sitting on the ground. Thanks for the input.

I'd keep the one with the livewell and use it for a cooler or storage.

It's a 2010 Malibu Stealth 14. It works great, I can keep bait alive all day. I've used it as a cooler too!
