Eufaula Question

Anybody ever fish Eufaula's "hospital cove", below the hospital on the East side of hwy 69? I havnt tried it yet. Heard stories of it holdin crappie in past springs, but it dont look like much w/ the water so low. Lemme no if u hav info on it. Im gonna hav 2 check it out this wknd.

The 'hospital cove' is actually the Eufaula City Lake and not officially part of Lake Eufaula. It is connected via tinhorns and usually has clearer water than the main lake. Yes it is down like all of the Lake right now due to many factors. There are crappie there--you catch a higher percentage of smaller ones--there is not a concrete boat ramp but boats can be launched due to more rocky bottoms.
