    Default Painting Crappie Pole tips

I just tried painting the tip of 2 crappie poles, Just used regular spray paint. I painted them white first then fourescent orange, thay look great but are all cracked, and am shure will start flaking befor I get my first fish. What should I use to make-em last??? I panited the tip to help me watch for bites while using minnows.

    I use white reflective tape.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

    Hey Robbor:

You may have incompatible paints. I would clean the paint off with laquer thinner and just use one color. I bought cheap Walmart paint to do my color code system and it didn't crack.
