If you have to buy a cheep reel of the same brand & use it for parts or maybe someone will have a junk reel they can part out.
Mainly worked the brush piles on the east side of the bridge by CB. Caught 6 in about an hour and a half. No keepers. All near the bottom. Black and chartreuse jigs. Sacrificed a bunch to the brush pile.
Speaking of sacrifices, my niece was with me and using my wife's rod and reel. The screw on the opposite side of the crank on the reel ended up in the lake. Is it possible to replace them. It's a decent reel and I'd hate to trash it over that. On top of that mama wouldn't be happy losing her lucky reel.
: )
Thoughts?
Thanks.
Bruce

thank you for the report.i'm ready for some main lake brusch action.i've got lots of reels laying around what kind did you lose?
Good luck on the piles! The reel is a Shakespeare Synergy Supreme 2930rcb. It's not a great reel. But my lovely wife likes it.
Try Steve Rogers up at Roger's Lures....he used to be good about that stuff, but haven't had any work done in years.
